Provides financial insight, accuracy, and control, using analytical skills to support Global Businesses and influence and challenge business decisions. - **Global Strategy:** The CEO Office sets the strategic direction of the bank at Group, business, and regional levels, driving collaboration, revenue generation and improving ways of working. - **Global Risk & Compliance:** Risk oversees a comprehensive risk management framework applied throughout the Group, while Compliance protects customers, the organisation, and the integrity of financial markets. - **People:** Implements HSBC’s people strategy, including talent management, succession planning, and employee mobility, and oversees frameworks for performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing, and engagement. - **Internal Audit:** Provides independent, objective assessment of risk management, control, and governance processes to protect assets, reputation, and long-term sustainability. - **Group Chief Operating Office:** Drives simplification and transformation, delivering an exceptional customer-centric experience across all banking areas (e.g., cards and loans processing, account services, ATM operations, credit risk evaluation, mortgage applications, and payments processing).
