As an AWS Business Development Intern, you will join the Strategic Program Team to advance AWS strategy, drive education programs adoption, and build and execute programs such as the AWS Joint Innovation Center for startup and enterprise innovation. You will define the operational efficiencies of the programs, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and report metrics to leadership. We are seeking a proactive, quick learner who can dive into program activities and identify innovative ways to improve processes and mechanisms. You will help ensure customer expectations are met through clear and swift follow-up, working with universities, high schools, education institutions, governments, and companies to understand their needs and challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own AWS education programs (AWS Educate & AWS Academy) in Hong Kong, overseeing operational activities
  • Plan and execute digital and physical campaigns and events
  • Drive AWS Education Programs certification numbers to increase adoption of AWS and related programs
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., university educators and students, startup incubation centers, education community leaders)
  • Collaborate with broader teams including Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Legal, and others as needed
  • Manage student leaders from the Student Ambassador program
  • Lead data analysis to understand enterprise customers’ usage and solution sets
  • Assist full-time staff with migration application follow-up, weekly report preparation, and internal program enablement
  • Support Joint Innovation Center (JIC) operations, startup prospect engagement, and community management (startup, investor, corporate) by coordinating cross-functional and partner resources
  • Support AWS-led and third-party collaboration events, including Digital Innovation, AWS Marketplace promotions, and strategic enterprise events (startup engagement or talent cultivation)
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including data analysis, Salesforce hygiene, metric tracking and reporting, special project management, proposal writing, data retrieval/management/reporting, and post-event tracking

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree with interest in Technology and IT Business Development; fresh graduates may apply
  • Pursuing a degree in computer science, IT, finance, business, marketing, or a related field
  • Able to participate in an internship from July 2026 to July 2027
  • Strong organizational skills, including problem solving, prioritization, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
  • Basic understanding of the cloud computing landscape and AWS
