## Role details

## Responsibilities

  
- Perform maintenance of marine electrical systems and components in workshops and onboard vessels.
  
- Supervise a team of electricians in planned and corrective maintenance.
  
- Perform corrective maintenance and planned maintenance.
  
- Conduct electrical wiring, cabling, and modification of electrical circuits.
  
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as multimeters, insulation testers, and process calibrators.
  
- Participate in the repair of electrical components in workshops and onboard ships.

## Requirements

  
- Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  
- Experience in power engineering and maintenance of electrical components.
  
- Knowledge in reading electrical circuit diagrams.
  
- Experience in testing/calibration of high/low voltage equipment or fault analysis.
  
- Knowledge of both electrical and electronic systems.
  
- Experience in DC systems is preferred.
  
- Able to lead and manage a small team to complete jobs assigned.
  
- Able to motivate and create a positive working environment and culture in the department.
  
- Willing to work in the Changi area.
  
- Able to work in outdoor environments—heat, grease, dust.
