Role Overview
The Business Development team at Braze shapes future revenue success by identifying, understanding, and helping potential customers build, enhance, or transform their customer engagement offerings. Business Development Representatives (BDRs) are trained to become skilled commercial players, driving outreach, relationship-building, and qualification to generate high-quality opportunities and pipeline.
What You'll Do
- Research target accounts and develop an outreach plan using phone, email, LinkedIn, video, and other channels to generate new business opportunities (pipeline).
- Manage meetings and involve internal stakeholders as needed; conduct high-level conversations with C-suite executives about goals, customer engagement, and marketing challenges to qualify opportunities.
- Deliver value-oriented pitches and solution demonstrations; advance opportunities toward qualification and closure.
- Meet outreach KPIs, set meetings, and perform discovery to support quota attainment; contribute to a high-volume, high-quality deal flow.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to build account strategies; participate in events to generate new leads.
