The Role

Elastic, the Search AI Company, enables everyone to find the answers they need in real time, using all their data, at scale — unleashing the potential of businesses and people. The Elastic Search AI Platform, used by more than 50% of the Fortune 500, brings together the precision of search and the intelligence of AI to enable everyone to accelerate the results that matter. By taking advantage of all structured and unstructured data — securing and protecting private information more effectively — Elastic’s complete, cloud-based solutions for search, security, and observability help organizations deliver on the promise of AI.

As Elastic’s Global Events team grows, we’re seeking a proactive, self-starting individual to support our Elastic{ON} events around the world. The Elastic{ON} tour program offers a dynamic, one-stop experience where users and customers can deepen their knowledge of the Elastic Stack, engage directly with experts, explore product deep dives, ask tough questions at the Ask Me Anything booth, and connect with the broader Elasticsearch community.

In this role, you will help plan and execute exceptional event programs developed to engage both prospective and existing customers. You will contribute to the overall success of each event by supporting attendee experience, sponsor fulfillment, and pipeline goals. Working closely with the Global Events team and cross-functional regional partners, you will help handle the logistics and planning deliverables needed to bring these events to life.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Coordinate event logistics including sponsorships, vendor and venue coordination, program logistics, budget, program timelines and more
  • Follow planning cadence timelines and connect with all internal partners to drive event results while supporting the event team’s goals and objectives
  • Support weekly updates to pre-event planning decks and post-event report summaries as needed
  • Coordinate sales enablement and sales communications as required to ensure pre- and post-event success
  • Help support the fulfillment of all sponsor deliverables and oversee the management of partner booths onsite
  • Help support the deliverables for speaking sessions, workshops, sponsor sessions and more
  • Coordinate day-to-day administration, including managing staff schedules, attendee registration, and RSVP tracking
  • On-Site Execution: Manage set-up, tear-down, and direct on-site operations to ensure compliance with event and sponsor needs. Travel to select tour locations required
  • Position requires working cross-functionally with internal teams: Regional Marketing, Partner Marketing, Creative Services, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, DevRel, Sales, Training and Customer Success

What You Bring

  • 1–3 years of event experience, preferably in high tech
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver a successful event
  • Energy and a “let's-do-this” demeanor with the ability to drive projects to completion
  • Attention to detail leading up to and on-site at events
  • Ability to balance multiple programs and priorities, including unplanned challenges that arise before and during events
