## About this role

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network within the Consumer Banking and Lending division. Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wells fargo jobs.

## In this role you will

  
- Participate in delivering an exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach and proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially.
  
- Assist customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications.
  
- Receive direction from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures.
  
- Develop understanding of bank products and services to connect to customers’ needs.
  
- Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships.
  
- Provide appropriate options for bank products and services to customers.
  
- Refer customers’ financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed.
  
- Note: This SAFE position involves customer contact and duties that may include offering/negotiating terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling-secured transaction. This requires compliance with the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations. Ongoing employment depends on meeting these requirements, including acceptable background investigation results. Individuals in SAFE positions must also meet Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) as outlined in job expectations.

## Required Qualifications

  
- 6+ months of interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

- Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
  
- Experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email.
  
- Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and the value of mobile banking options.
  
- Ability to help customers succeed financially by introducing them to additional team members as appropriate.
  
- Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs.
  
- Experience fostering and developing strong customer relationships.
  
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners.
  
- Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations.
  
- Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss.
  
- Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members.
  
- Relevant military experience including working with military protocols, enlisted evaluations, and leadership reporting; or experience in personnel benefits management, processing orders or transitions, wartime readiness operations, human resources, or military recruiting.
  
- Proficient in proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues.
  
- Ability to support customers and employees in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints.

## Job Expectations

  
- Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
  
- Maintains cash drawer, cash handling, and balancing; completes service-related tasks as needed.

  
- This position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment. Wells Fargo will initiate the SAFE registration process after your start date. The Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) MU4R questions and registration are required for employment in this position. LO qualification requirements under Regulation Z apply and include financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness, and criminal background standards. A current credit report will be used to assess financial responsibility and credit fitness; however, a credit score is not part of the evaluation. Ongoing regulatory requirements and additional screening may be necessary.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary based on demonstrated performance, skills, experience, or work location. Eligible for incentive opportunities.

$23.00 - $31.00
