## What role will you play?

You will be responsible for supporting the origination of new investment opportunities across infrastructure and energy sectors, leading elements of financial analysis, business diligence and transaction structuring. You will help shape investment theses and execution strategies, assist in arranging debt and equity financing, engage with lenders, investors and advisors across the region, prepare syndication materials, internal credit submissions, and investment committee documentation to support approval processes.

Part of your responsibilities will include building and refining buy-side financial models, assessing valuations, return profiles, risks and scenario outcomes, conducting in-depth market research, competitor analysis and regulatory reviews to inform investment decisions. You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with senior team members on ongoing mandates, client interaction and new business development, and engage with internal stakeholders including legal, operations and corporate functions to facilitate seamless deal execution and reporting.

## What you offer

  
- 1-3 years’ experience in infrastructure investment management gained through infrastructure funds, private equity, investment banking or similar transaction-driven environments
  
- An outstanding academic record in finance, economics, engineering or a related discipline
  
- A strong understanding of buy-side financial modelling and investment fundamentals
  
- Highly numerate, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the polish to represent Macquarie professionally at senior levels
  
- A flexible, entrepreneurial and innovative mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  
- Candidates with backgrounds in management consulting or accounting will also be considered
