## Role Overview

The Trade Desk is seeking a Receptionist (Front Desk Associate) to join our dynamic Workplace Services team. This individual will act as a cultural ambassador for the office and will assist the Workplace Services team in managing high-volume, high-touch services and programs to provide a safe, positive, productive, and “best in class” workplace experience. This highly visible position offers the highest level of customer service as one of the first points of contact for employees, guests, and visitors.

## What you’ll do

  
- Act as the primary point of contact for front-of-house support, greeting employees, guests, visitors, and vendors at the office reception desk.
  
- Assist with management of daily building access cards for employees and guests; coordinate with the Workplace Services team and building security as necessary.
  
- Support regular office communications regarding office updates, food & beverage programs, and related activities and events.
  
- Coordinate office functions including lunch programs, mail services, employee desk moves, large meeting room reservations, and special events.
  
- Notify Workplace Services team members of maintenance issues and educate employees on how to initiate support requests as needed.
  
- Maintain the front-of-house area in a neat and tidy condition to provide the best first impression.
  
- Assist with maintaining the local workplace intranet page with relevant information for employees and visitors, including building details, security, and travel tips.
  
- Assist with onboarding and departure processes for employees and contractors in collaboration with HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, and Workplace teams.
  
- Assist with planning office morale activities and events.
  
- Assist Talent Acquisition with candidate greetings and coordination.
  
- Perform other tasks, duties, or special projects as needed.
  
- Collaborate with global Workplace Services colleagues on best practices.

- Previous experience in a fast-paced office or professional environment is a plus.
  
- Genuine interest in delivering outstanding customer service.
  
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
- A creative mindset with the ability to suggest improvements.
  
- Passion for your work, with an upbeat, positive attitude and attention to detail.
  
- Grit: resilient and capable of finding solutions through creative thinking and iteration.
  
- Proactive: check in with the team often, alert appropriate staff to issues, and strive to provide exceptional service.
  
- Able to respond after hours for emergencies and to work outside designated hours as needed.
  
- Full knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
