## Position Summary

**About the position:**

As an Analyst on this team, your primary responsibility will be the ongoing management of the Project Finance loan portfolio, with emphasis on credit monitoring, analytics and internal reporting.

## Department

This role is part of the _Project Finance_ team, which comprises the critical portfolio management and reporting foundation for all lending origination and underwriting activity.

## Responsibilities

  
- Prepare and submit quarterly and annual credit reviews/packages;
  
- Review and compare financial performance to budget, evaluate financial projections, and remodel forecasts as needed;
  
- Compile and participate in quarterly Credit Risk Management (CRM) portfolio reviews;
  
- Assist in the execution and preparation of amendment and waiver requests, aid in writing credit modifications, submit to risk, address Q&A, and follow up on required legal documentation;
  
- Assess and track compliance of borrowing bases, collateral, liquidity/availability, covenants and other reporting items (e.g., UCC filings, insurance) in line with bank policy and procedures;
  
- Perform and review risk ratings for borrowers;
  
- Prepare quarterly memorandums for challenging/underperforming credits;
  
- Prepare and maintain reports requested by regulators, rating agencies and other external parties;
  
- Maintain various department and industry databases/trackers;
  
- Maintain internal portfolio tracking metrics;
  
- Respond to ad hoc internal requests on portfolio composition and exposure;
  
- Coordinate and work with offshore portfolio support teams;
  
- Research industry sectors and collaborate with industry coverage colleagues to prepare updates;
  
- Take a key role in handling internal system processing (Vantage) including GRID, FINAN, TSC, and Risk Rater;
  
- Monitor and identify market developments and proactively manage potential impacts on the portfolio;
  
- Coordinate timely and accurate response to internal and external regulatory controls and audits by providing insights, reports, samples, and participating in dialogues when requested;
  
- Stay up-to-date on organizational operating policies and procedures (e.g., Risk, Legal) to ensure appropriate protocols are implemented and followed;
  
- Coordinate with KYC/CDD team;
  
- Assist the team in the execution of new transactions, amendments and refinancings as needed.

## Qualifications & Competencies

  
- BA/BS in finance, economics, accounting, management or engineering (or similar); CFA a plus;
  
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in credit, accounting, business analytics, project management, portfolio reporting and/or KYC/compliance;
  
- Formal credit training and financial projection knowledge required;
  
- Prior Project Finance and/or energy and commodity finance experience a plus;
  
- Spanish proficiency a plus;
  
- Excellent presentation and communication skills;
  
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management abilities with the capacity to multitask and meet tight deadlines;
  
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication to collaborate with local and global teams;
  
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word;
  
- Experience working with large data sets (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs) is valued;
  
- Credit training preferred;
  
- High attention to detail; self-motivated and able to work in a deal-oriented, deadline-driven environment;
  
- Ability to manage and prioritize competing demands from multiple colleagues; collaborative team player.

_Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000_
