Reports to: Head of Investment Banking

Location: New York, NY

Salary Range: $110,000–$125,000

Overview

The Investment Banking Analyst will be a key member of an experienced team of investment bankers focused on healthcare companies. The successful candidate will provide support to senior bankers in executing M&A and financing transactions for clients across all sub-verticals within Healthcare Services and Technology. This position offers direct CEO, CFO and Board level contact, as well as significant responsibility and opportunity for advancement. The ideal candidate will have previous healthcare investment banking experience at the Analyst level.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in client transactions, projects, or assignments as an Investment Banking Analyst
• Interact with clients, internal banking team and product teams
• Assist in preparation of presentations and marketing materials (e.g. CIM, Management Presentations, etc.) for current and prospective clients
• Prepare valuation analyses and other financial modeling analyses of clients and targets
• Review business plans, conduct research and analyze financial statements
• Review and manage due diligence process, including virtual data room preparation and counterparty Q&A

Experience and Qualifications Required

• 1+ years of investment banking experience, healthcare-related transactions preferred
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including knowledge of financial accounting
• Qualified candidates with a BS or BA in finance or a similar field and a demonstrated exemplary academic record
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Highly motivated, energetic, personable and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, meritocratic, team-oriented work environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
