**Job Title:** Tax Intern

**Contract Type:** Internship Contract

**Time Type:** Full time

## Overview of Role

The intern will have the opportunity to understand how the commodity trading industry works and how tax plays an important role in various processes within the company. You will also have the opportunity to learn and work alongside professionals in an international environment.

## Main Responsibilities

  
- Deepen your foundation in the Singapore tax regime
  
- Exposure to other taxes around the region and how they matter to the company
  
- Support in reviewing transactions to ensure correct tax treatments are applied
  
- Support in preparation of various tax returns, computations, and tax reports
  
- Support in indirect tax analysis
  
- Assist in drafting tax processes or procedures
  
- Opportunity to be involved in tax projects

## Profile / Qualifications

The following experience is preferred but not mandatory:

  
- Pursuing a university degree related to Finance or Accounting with a basic tax background
  
- Desire to learn about accounting or taxation
  
- Excellent communication and business writing skills
  
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  
- Strong skillset in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
  
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies
  
- Candidates must be available for a standard 5-day work week for the full 6-month duration of the internship
