You will handle the financial and analytical aspects of key business decisions, go-to-market strategies, resource allocation, partnerships, and investment decisions. The Strategic Finance Analyst is expected to enable executives and team leaders to make better decisions and will collaborate to evaluate, plan, execute, and measure strategic business initiatives. This position requires an adaptable self-starter who can communicate clearly with stakeholders across the organization, progress tasks from start to finish, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid in-office/remote role, with an expectation to be available in our New York City office for approximately two days per week. ## Responsibilities - Own the company self-serve and product-led-growth forecast model - Assist with the annual planning process; prepare monthly and quarterly board and executive reporting - Support investor relations and corporate development initiatives, including potential M&A - Conduct ad-hoc analyses and build financial models to inform operating strategies, investment recommendations, and new business opportunities - - Lead, collaborate, and contribute to business case development of new strategic initiatives - Provide strategic advice to facilitate fast decision-making ## Requirements - 1 to 3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or an analytical role at a data-driven technology company - Superior analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills - Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations - Confidence to build strong relationships with business partners at all levels - Drive for results with a sense of urgency and the ability to multitask and prioritize - Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Substantial experience with financial modeling and proficiency in Excel - Experience with data acquisition tools (e.g., SQL) and handling large datasets is a plus ## About MongoDB MongoDB is built for change, empowering customers and people to innovate at the speed of the market. Compensation is based on factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. This base salary range is part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits.
