Structured Solutions Sales – Singapore
The Structured Solutions Financial Institutions team at Vontobel offers a solid and recognized platform enabling an ambitious and entrepreneurial individual to further develop their career. Recognized as a leading issuer of multi-asset structured products, Vontobel is expanding its presence in Asia. The team delivers innovative solutions to intermediaries such as banks, brokers, external asset managers, and family offices. To support our business growth, we are looking for a Structured Solutions Sales professional for our Singapore office.
This role is ideal for a recent university graduate with experience in the financial services industry looking to break into structured product sales.
What would your role be?
- On-board and monetize new clients
- Service the existing network of bank and broker clients
- Support clients through the product lifecycle with proactive advisory and investment-led initiatives
- Increase share of wallet with innovative structured solutions and products
- Support the Asia Structured Solutions Financial Institution team in advisory and client engagement efforts, including marketing materials, idea generation, client acquisition, bank coverage, and overall activity growth
- Own transversal tasks across various taskforces, including product development, platform project management, and expansion into new markets
What are we looking for?
- Degree in finance, management, economics, mathematics, or a science major
- Experience in a similar role, ideally with exposure to external asset managers or banks
- Strong interest in financial markets and a good understanding of derivatives instruments
- Analytical and structured thinking, highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, ability to persuade and translate ideas into reality
- A genuine team mindset; you inspire colleagues with exemplary behavior and contribute to a culture of opportunity and innovation
- A proactive attitude to resolve complex issues involving multiple stakeholders
- Ability to deal with ambiguity; you have agility and resilience to adapt to various situations
- Passion to succeed and deliver; keen to make an impact on the growth of the Asian business
- Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus
