Note: Leave of Absence (LOA) may be required to take on the internship. ## Commodities ### Short overview on the Team The intern will support the Commodities Product Management team which is one of the key business drivers in SGX. The PM team is responsible for growing the revenue and liquidity of the commodity derivatives, which include iron ore, coal, freight, rubber, dairy, oil, petrochemicals and EV metals. ### Learning Objectives - Get hands-on experience of the different aspects of derivatives product management in an Exchange and learn about the market structure and mechanics of SGX’s suite of commodity derivatives. - Be involved in the daily functions of a derivatives product manager and gain practical knowledge of how an Exchange lists and clears derivative contracts. - Acquire insights into the fundamentals of the commodity markets through helping with market research. - Assist with projects such as product launches and marketing events.
