### Platform Analytics

**Brief Overview:** Platform Analytics is within the Data Services function. The Platform Analytics team is responsible for internal data foundations for reporting and analysis in the Global Markets Division. Analytics data is crucial to support the business with data-driven insights and to inform business decisions.

This is a data analytics and engineering role in Platform Analytics. The selected intern will work on migrating the business data mart to Google Cloud Platforms. You will be exposed to the full suite of data generated by trading of securities and derivatives products available on SGX and will get involved in enhancing analytics offered in the data mart. This is a unique opportunity to work hands-on with modern cloud technologies, shape the foundation of our future data architecture, and see the direct impact of your contributions.

## Job Responsibilities

  
- Develop and test ETL pipelines in GCP Dataform (SQL) and Cloud Run functions (Python)
  
- Ensure data quality and accuracy
  
- Support existing BAU processes in Python
  
- Promote good data analytics practices — robust documentation and knowledge sharing
  
- Ad hoc market data research

## Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  
- Data engineering and analytics skills in Python
  
- Proficiency in SQL
  
- Knowledge of data structures and databases
  
- Understanding of financial markets is preferred
  
- Experience (or interest) in Google Cloud Platform is preferred
