About the role

StepStone is seeking highly motivated marketing interns to support all areas and functions of the marketing team. They will assist with coordination of branding materials, event and logistics support, communication and calendar updates, administrative marketing support, and maintaining databases and dashboards. To excel in this role, the candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment and support numerous concurrent projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Support conferences and event coordination, including location/vendor research, logistics management, attendee coordination, inventory management and distribution, stakeholder management, invitation and website creation, post-event report creation, and payment coordination.
  • Work with the content team to create, format, and review marketing materials, ensuring they align with brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate and communicate on culture, community, and charitable programs.
  • Assist in maintaining and supporting marketing platforms (Seismic, Salesforce, SharePoint).
  • Support digital marketing, poster design, email campaigns, and social media.
  • Set up and coordinate meetings and conference calls.
  • Assist in sales enablement and fundraising processes.

What we’re looking for

  • Available to work part-time in person in our London office starting in June 2026 through May 2027.
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Highly motivated with demonstrated initiative, independence, and adaptability.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong time management and follow-up skills.
  • A good eye for photography, visual storytelling, and design aesthetics.
  • Acute attention to detail and a critical thinking mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to interpret data, measure campaign performance, and derive actionable insights.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel essential; Teams a plus).
  • Willing to learn and grow.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
