You will be assigned to projects related to testing and validation of SSD products, AI-enhanced tooling, and process optimization to improve quality, efficiency, and yields. ## Responsibilities - Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, while complying with standards and legal requirements. - Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within your scope of work. - Develop and maintain test programs for Micron SSD products in high-volume manufacturing to ensure specifications are met. - Design new test programs for validation and testing of new SSD products/technology during the start-up phase. - Optimize test programs and methodologies to reduce product test times. - Automate test engineering processes by writing software scripts to improve efficiency. - Enhance test coverage to ensure best-in-class outgoing quality. - Collaborate with product and equipment engineering teams to improve overall product yields and equipment efficiency to maximize ROI. - Collaborate with test capacity and manufacturing teams to meet production output goals. - Develop and monitor process and engineering metrics to ensure stability, efficiency, and effectiveness of test processes. ## Requirements - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering fields. - Proficiency in Python programming and enthusiasm for developing and improving code. - Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Git, or similar engineering workflow tools. - Strong debugging and analytical skills for test and manufacturing environments. - Agility to manage and execute prioritized action items from tactical and strategic perspectives. - Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts; exposure to AI-assisted engineering or productivity tools is advantageous. - Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills. - Effective communication and ability to collaborate across all levels. - Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning. - Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus. - Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact is highly desirable. - Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred. - Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem solving, operations, and achieving business outcomes. - Commitment to Micron’s core values: People, Innovation, Tenacity, Collaboration, and Customer Focus. - **Core values:** - People – Respect, develop, and empower others - Innovation – Drive continuous improvement and breakthrough thinking - Tenacity – Show grit and determination - Collaboration – Build trust and foster teamwork - Customer Focus – Deliver excellence and value ## About Micron We are a global leader in memory and storage solutions, delivering high-performance DRAM, NAND, and NOR products under the Micron and Crucial brands.
