Join Micron Semiconductors Test Solutions Engineering and learn the top niche testing methodologies for memory devices using state-of-the-art testing platforms. You will be assigned to projects related to testing and validation of SSD products, AI-enhanced tooling, and process optimization to improve quality, efficiency, and yields.

Responsibilities

• Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, while complying with standards and legal requirements.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within your scope of work.
• Develop and maintain test programs for Micron SSD products in high-volume manufacturing to ensure specifications are met.
• Design new test programs for validation and testing of new SSD products/technology during the start-up phase.
• Optimize test programs and methodologies to reduce product test times.
• Automate test engineering processes by writing software scripts to improve efficiency.
• Enhance test coverage to ensure best-in-class outgoing quality.
• Collaborate with product and equipment engineering teams to improve overall product yields and equipment efficiency to maximize ROI.
• Collaborate with test capacity and manufacturing teams to meet production output goals.
• Develop and monitor process and engineering metrics to ensure stability, efficiency, and effectiveness of test processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering fields.
• Proficiency in Python programming and enthusiasm for developing and improving code.
• Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Git, or similar engineering workflow tools.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills for test and manufacturing environments.
• Agility to manage and execute prioritized action items from tactical and strategic perspectives.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts; exposure to AI-assisted engineering or productivity tools is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and ability to collaborate across all levels.
• Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
• Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact is highly desirable.
• Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.
• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem solving, operations, and achieving business outcomes.
