## The Role

Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE) Interns work directly with customers to understand their greatest problems and design and implement data-driven solutions. Our customers rely on Palantir’s platforms for critical operations, and projects often start with open-ended questions such as evaluating wildfire risk to optimize a power grid, or quickly assessing a food supply chain to deliver life-saving assistance on time. As an FDSE, you’ll apply problem-solving ability, creativity, and technical skills to help organizations use their data to drive real impact in the world. You’ll gain rare insight into and contribute to some of the world’s most important industries and institutions.

This role is based in our New York City office and is open to students and recent graduates of the French Grandes Écoles.

## Program Details

Fellows will join alongside full-time Palantirians, supplemented with programming curated to fuel growth and criticality. The 12-month fellowship will begin October 2026. Candidates can participate during the Grandes Écoles’ gap year as a 3rd year internship or within 12 months of graduation.

## Responsibilities

  
- Work in small teams with minimal supervision and own end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects.
  
- Engage in activities such as architecture discussions with fellow engineers, data wrangling at large scale, and coding a custom web application.
  
- Interact with customer executives and help establish team strategy.
  
- Be treated like a full-time engineer with significant freedom and ownership over work.
  
- Take responsibility for real-world projects and outcomes that customers rely on.
