Facilities Building Services Technician

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Assist in developing scope of work for the provision of outsourced services.
• Assist in developing standard operating procedures and risk assessments for routine and non-routine works.
• Support the estimation of annual budgets required for service contracts, building maintenance, and minor works.
• Support and assist engineers for building services projects which include civil and structural works.
• Attend daily meetings on day-to-day operation issues and participate actively in resolving issues pertaining to work areas.
• Carry out FMS work tasks and close PM/CM work orders in a timely manner.
• Provide guidance and supervision to in-house contractors and service contract providers.
• Ensure and maintain a high level of safety standards on all supervised work to meet the company safety goals.
• Work closely with in-house contractors and service contract providers to meet established performance metrics.
• All team members are required to complete their learning items within the stipulated time frame.

Requirements

• Diploma/ITC (Higher NITEC)/NTC-2 (NITEC) in Architectural, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical disciplines.
• Experience in building maintenance is advantageous.
