We foster an entrepreneurial, values-driven culture that supports professional development, flexibility, and collaboration across a multicultural team. ## Position Senior Consultant, Data Science ## What you will do - Represent Simon-Kucher as an individual contributor to deliver high‑quality outputs and deliverables, meeting and exceeding client expectations. - Contribute to project planning and execution by aligning delivery with client needs and objectives. - Drive client engagements by delivering high‑impact insights, enhanced analysis, and deep expertise to create client‑focused, value‑driven deliverables. - Advise and support customers in the development of AI‑based products across mobility, IoT, industry, consumer goods, financial services, and non‑profit sectors. - Apply theoretical knowledge to develop predictive models using modern statistical methods and mathematical modeling. - Conduct predictive analyses by selecting, testing, and applying machine learning and artificial intelligence methods. - Design innovative strategies for pricing, marketing, and sales leveraging machine learning and AI expertise. - Stay current with emerging research and market changes while actively engaging in team discussions on data trends. - Prepare client‑ready deliverables and independently present workstream findings and recommendations to senior clients, incorporating their feedback. - Provide exceptional client service, communicate effectively, and handle challenging situations. - Join and contribute to a growing, multicultural team, collaborating with internal and external business and technology experts globally. ## About You - Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 1–3 years of experience as a Data Scientist; proficient with Python and SQL. - Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau; well-versed in relational databases and the ETL process. - Skilled in selecting, testing, and applying statistical, AI, and ML models (e.g., Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, SVM, Tree‑based Models such as Decision Trees, Random Forest, XGBoost, CatBoost, LightGBM, etc.). - Familiar with common cloud‑based ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, Azure ML). - Excellent communication and presentation skills with fluent English (written and verbal) and a client‑focused attitude. - Inclusive and empathetic team member; some supervisory experience in mentoring and coaching is a plus. - Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. - Sharp, analytical, problem‑solving mindset with a structured approach. - Strong collaboration and teamwork skills. - Enjoys learning and staying up to date on new technologies and market strategies. ## Compensation & Benefits The pay range for this position in New York is $125,000–$150,000 per year. Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, location, and business needs.
