Morgan’s top-ranked Telecoms Equity Research Team. The role focuses on developing a deep understanding of equities, markets, and companies with an emphasis on the Telecoms sector. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the team under the mentorship of senior analysts to create insightful reports on companies, sectors, and thematic trends, and to convey the team’s insights to institutional clients. The role offers extensive training and professional development across the department to support career progression. ## Job Responsibilities - Work with senior colleagues to provide thought leadership to institutional clients regarding the Telecom sector, with potential for stock coverage based on candidate readiness. - Maintain and update valuation models. - Build and maintain industry databases. - Prepare materials for the regular publication of research reports, including data analysis and presentation. - Contribute to writing research reports, including quarterly results alerts, stock reports, and thematic pieces. - Communicate with institutional investors and company representatives, as well as internal clients (Sales, Sales-Traders, and Traders). - Stay abreast of company and industry developments. ## Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills - Strong interest in Telecoms or technology generally, with a willingness to specialize in this area. - Experience across TMT, accounting, or consulting. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage and influence partners and stakeholders. - Enthusiasm for a team-focused environment where individual insights are valued. - Analytical approach to building and maintaining financial models. - Strong numeracy skills. - Great attention to detail. - Relationship-building skills—comfortable connecting with a wide range of individuals, able to communicate clearly, concisely, and confidently to colleagues and external clients, and skilled at distilling complex issues into clear conclusions. ## Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills - Strong modelling skills with the ability to forecast. _This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity.
