The role supports the development and deployment of AI responsibly and contributes to improving customer experiences through practical generative AI innovations. ## Key Responsibilities - Maintain and follow strict confidentiality as customer privacy is a top priority. - Work with diverse data types including text, speech, audio, image, and video. - Deliver high-quality labeled data using provided guidelines and in-house tools to meet KPIs as part of Amazon's responsible AI initiatives. - Generate high-quality human insight data across modalities (text, image, video, and audio). - Make sound judgments and logical decisions when information is ambiguous or incomplete. - Maintain attention to detail and adapt quickly to different requirement categories. - Support daily operational deliverables for multiple task types assigned to the team. - Analyze root causes, identify error patterns, and propose solutions to improve labeling quality and outputs. - Identify day-to-day process and operational issues in SOPs and tools, and suggest changes to unblock operations. - Demonstrate ownership in floor support to clarify internal queries during execution as needed. ## A Day in the Life We are looking for an ML Data Associate to undertake foundational labeling tasks, such as dialogue evaluation on speech, text, audio, and video data. Your ability to concentrate, multi-task, and maintain strict confidentiality will help you deliver high-quality work while adhering to Amazon policies for securing confidential information. We continually seek ways to improve capabilities and deliver the best product possible. The team is diverse, with regular meetings, trainings, and Amazon events throughout the year. ## Basic Qualifications - An Associate’s Degree or related work experience - CEFR C1+ or equivalent fluency in French - Written and spoken English at CEFR C1+ level - Strong business writing skills for reports, proposals, and professional correspondence - Advanced reading comprehension with the ability to analyze complex business documents - Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities - Ability to interpret and implement detailed instructions across projects - Proficient research skills with experience gathering and synthesizing information from multiple sources - Proven attention to detail in managing complex tasks and documents ## Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field - Proven experience with demonstrated task execution ability - Experience leveraging open-source resources for comprehensive research - Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy - Project coordination or management experience for support functions teams - Experience managing stakeholder relationships across departments - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
