## Position

**Financial Planning (Balance Sheet Management) Intern**

**Internship Period:** 3 August 2026 – 31 December 2026

## Location

Singapore (open to Singaporean and PR students only). In Singapore, MUFG internship partners include National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Management University, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).

## Team / Department

Global Corporate Banking Division for Asia – Financial Planning. The team tracks and evaluates portfolio performance, prioritizes and allocates resources to support business growth, and generates insights for management decisions. The role focuses on generating insights, explaining historical data trends, validating strategies, and forecasting.

## Key Responsibilities

  
- Provide support for in-depth business analysis of portfolio exposures and generate insights that inform top-level management decisions.
  
- Manage and run datasets and reporting; maintain and ensure data integrity across datasets.
  
- Perform reconciliation of data and reports and support optimization efforts.
  
- Collaborate with other teams and countries on data requests and support.

## Qualifications & Requirements

  
- Business-oriented with a passion for working with large data sets to generate insights and build models for decision making.
  
- Interest or knowledge in data systems and processes to help build internal tools for efficiency (not essential but advantageous).
  
- Proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
- Committed and flexible; able to work under tight deadlines.
  
- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving orientation; comfortable working with big data.
  
- Knowledge of programming languages and analytical tools, along with an understanding of financial processes, is advantageous.
  
- Any discipline is welcomed.
