Corporate and Institutional Banking helps some of the world’s largest companies grow and succeed by offering investment and financial solutions.

**Who you are**

We’re looking for people who love building connections, supporting others, and making a real impact. You don’t need to know everything about banking – bring your curiosity and drive, and we’ll help with the rest.

- A natural communicator: You express yourself clearly and enjoy helping others understand new concepts.

- A people person: You love getting to know people and building relationships.

- Fast-paced and detail-oriented: You can juggle different tasks, work well under pressure, and adapt when priorities shift.

- Team player: You enjoy working with others and understand that success is a team effort.

- Ownership mindset: You take initiative and propose solutions.

- Eager to learn: You’re curious and ready to acquire new knowledge.

- Self-aware: You understand how your actions affect others and seek personal and professional growth.

If you’re the kind of person who gets a buzz from helping others succeed – and loves the idea of being part of your clients’ story – we’d love to hear from you.

## What you’ll do

From day one, you’ll be part of a dedicated team focused on building, growing, and protecting deep, trusted relationships with our corporate and institutional clients. You’ll play a role in helping clients succeed and safeguarding their legacy, while strengthening HSBC’s position as a trusted partner.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll get involved in:

- Work across specialist teams: Partner with experts across the bank to grow client relationships and deliver tailored financial solutions.

- Get early exposure to clients: Build connections from the outset, gaining insight into clients’ goals and how HSBC’s solutions – from sustainable supply chains to green bonds – can support their success.

- Act as the link between HSBC and its clients: Help the team understand clients inside out to ensure the right solutions are delivered at the right time.

- See collaboration in action: Experience cross-functional collaboration across teams, geographies, and functions, including Legal, Credit, and Risk.

- Create client presentations, reports, and credit papers; support strategic reviews and pitches; conduct financial analysis and risk assessments on client portfolios and transactions.

## What you’ll learn

We’ll support you with all the training and development you need to succeed. Your journey typically begins with local regulated training and exams, followed by our Global Graduate Induction. The induction provides an overview of HSBC and an opportunity to build a global network of graduates and business colleagues. After the Global Graduate Induction, you’ll participate in a global tailored training programme to develop the technical understanding and professional capability required for your role.

## Eligibility criteria

- Available to work full time from July 2026 onwards

- Obtained, or expected to achieve, a GPA of at least 4.0/5.0 or 3.2/4.0 (or overseas equivalent), as shown on your official university transcript or degree certificate

- Recent graduates with less than 2 years of full-time job experience or who will have graduated by July 2026

- Fluent in English

## Closing date

Wednesday, 15 October 2025 23:59 (UK time)
