Wintermute is a global company with offices in London and Singapore. It opened its US office in early 2025 and is set to grow significantly over the next several years. This is a unique opportunity to play a role in the early rapid expansion of Wintermute Americas.
Role: Risk Analyst, Wintermute Americas
As a Risk Analyst you will be part of the global Risk Management function. The team plays a vital role in Wintermute’s growing OTC and counterparty-facing business, as well as its presence on trading venues by managing and mitigating credit risk. You will also monitor, maintain, and help improve the risk management framework for a large number of products and types of counterparties.
You will work closely with senior Business Development managers, traders, lawyers, middle office, and trading operations. A strong understanding of the trade life cycle of derivatives and spot will be beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Contribute as a member of the global Risk Management function to support OTC and counterparty-facing activities.
- Manage and mitigate credit risk associated with counterparties and trading venues.
- Monitor, maintain, and help improve the risk management framework across a wide range of products and counterparties.
- Collaborate with senior business development managers, traders, lawyers, middle office, and trading operations to ensure risk controls are effective and up to date.
Qualifications / Requirements
- A strong understanding of the trade life cycle of derivatives and spot markets is beneficial.
