## Position

**Global Corporate Banking Division for Asia – Sector Coverage Department**

**Sector Coverage Intern**

**Internship Period:** 03 August 2026 – 31 December 2026

## About the Role

This position sits within the Sector Coverage team in Global Corporate and Investment Banking. We are looking for a high-performing intern to join our team and work with Sector Coverage specialists to provide an integrated client experience along industry lines.

## Job Description

  
- Work across all aspects of the role to gain an all-round view of MUFG’s products and services offered to clients.
  
- Gain holistic experience across the deal life cycle, including origination, business proposals, deal execution, and post-deal monitoring.
  
- Prepare pitch books to facilitate sector-based thematic dialogue, origination of financing mandates, and strategic financing dialogue with both corporate and financial sponsor clients.
  
- Support senior team members in execution of financing transactions (credit analysis, structuring, financial modelling, valuation analysis, peer analysis, ratings analysis, etc.).
  
- Gain professional growth by working with various experienced stakeholders and product teams within the organization (Leveraged and Acquisition Finance, Project Finance, Global Markets, Debt Capital Markets – Loans and Bonds, Transaction Banking, etc.).
  
- Develop presentation and communication skills with the opportunity to present projects and/or case studies to business partners and management.

## Job Requirements

  
- Keen interest in working in the finance industry with relevant prior internship experience.
  
- Strong skillset in financial modelling, pitch book creation, credit and financial statement analysis.
  
- Action-oriented, energetic, and entrepreneurial.
  
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
  
- Collaborative approach with eagerness to learn.
  
- Strong ethical behavior and alignment with MUFG's core values.
  
- Sector understanding in one or more of the following sectors will be a positive:
