TECHNOLOGIST - CHEMICAL LAB

• Work in a clean-room Fab facility and Chemical Laboratory environment
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to analyze routine samples and report to internal customers
• Use analytical techniques and instrumentation such as chromatography, spectroscopy, titration, particle sizing, volume measurement, and weight measurement
• Prepare samples and reagents for processes such as vapor phase deposition (VPD), extraction, digestion, and series dilution
• Monitor and sustain equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned tools
• Collaborate with area chemists to troubleshoot analytical and equipment issues
• Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities, including 6S audits, housekeeping, maintaining stock of reagents, standards, spare parts, and consumables
• Keep the Chemistry Laboratory Manager updated on tool and area issues

Qualifications / Requirements

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Materials Science, Life or Biomedical Science, or equivalent experience
• Basic knowledge of analytical equipment (e.g., ICP-MS, ICP-OES, titrators, GC-MS, LC-MS)
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of analytical techniques
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to troubleshoot basic problems and address root causes
• Strong teamwork and multi-tasking capabilities
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexible to work 12-hour shifts and rotate day/night shifts as required
• Software skills including Tableau, Excel VBA, Microsoft Power Automate, and/or Python are preferred
