Description The Facilities UPW/WW Engineer provides engineering support to oversee, plan, and ensure proper operations and maintenance of Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) and Wastewater (WW) systems. He/She is expected to troubleshoot and respond to issues and interruptions of the systems. He/She will handle and execute UPW and wastewater treatment systems engineering projects including upgrades, retrofits, expansion, and maintenance. This position offers exposure to technology, aiding career growth with accelerated training in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. ## Responsibilities - Plan, coordinate, and supervise day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Ultra-Pure Water (UPW), Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Local Scrubber Recycling system (LSR), and other water treatment systems to maximize equipment uptime and reliability. - Coordinate and liaise with contractors/vendors to implement corrective maintenance (CM) and preventive maintenance (PM) programs. - Study, plan, and execute engineering projects and solutions including upgrades, retrofits, system expansion, and maintenance. - Support and enforce safety compliance and government regulations. - Initiate, evaluate, plan, design, and supervise improvement, upgrading, and new projects for relevant water systems. - Propose, plan, and execute water recycling projects to reduce overall water consumption in alignment with Long-term Sustainability goals. - Plan, design, and lead Control Automation engineering projects including new construction, system upgrading, and quality improvement. - Contribute to the environmental sustainability roadmap and improve water and waste recyclability through new technology breakthroughs. - Identify, evaluate, and potentially implement advanced technology on water systems to improve efficiency and support Micron’s environmental sustainability efforts. ## Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. - Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Water Treatment Systems. ## About Micron Technology, Inc.
