## Trading Analyst Intern

The Trading Analyst Intern is responsible for building quantitative models, financial/statistical tools, and engineering data-driven applications that support trading workflows. This role requires strong mathematical, coding, and problem-solving abilities.

## Key Responsibilities

  
- Develop financial, statistical, and machine-learning models.
  
- Conduct quantitative research and backtesting on large datasets.
  
- Build Python applications and automated data pipelines.
  
- Optimize and refactor existing systems for performance and reliability.
  
- Validate model assumptions and prepare documentation.
  
- Integrate models into dashboards or internal tools.
  
- Troubleshoot technical issues across data, modelling, and code.
  
- Collaborate with analysts, traders, and engineers on various tasks as needed.

## Key Competencies / Skills

  
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
  
- Solid understanding of statistics, modelling, or machine learning.
  
- Ability to independently deliver technical, end-to-end projects.
  
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

## Education and Experience

  
- Degree in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Economics (with strong econometrics), or other quantitative fields preferred.
