This opportunity is ideal for someone eager to work across strategy, execution, and optimization within a collaborative and dynamic environment. The intern will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to strategic initiatives, project management, and operations execution. ### Project Management The Project Management role is ideal for someone with strong analytical thinking, visual storytelling skills, and a flair for curating strategic ideas into practical, visually compelling outputs to support the planning, execution, and delivery of key projects. ### Operational Excellence The Operational Excellence role is ideal for someone who is versatile, has strong communication skills, and brings a continuous improvement mindset—applying logical thinking and process optimization to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. ## Primary responsibilities ### Project Management - Maintain and organize the digital copy of all project documentation - Provide support in the preparation of functions and workstreams working templates and materials - Produce communication materials for internal and external stakeholders - Update and track project schedule, milestones, risks and dependencies across cross-functional workstreams - Assist in maintaining project dashboards, status reports, and governance documentation - Assist with maintaining financial models and project tools - Support workshops and put forward design-tailored solutions for internal and external clients - Assist with the creation of client-ready presentations and curate/design strategic content - Draw insights and synthesized findings from qualitative and quantitative research - Support in minutes-taking and action lists, as well as other administrative support ### Operations Excellence - **Strategic Operations** - Analyze operational processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization - Assist in developing SOPs, workflows, and playbooks for recurring business activities - Collect and synthesize data to support decision-making and operational planning - Collaborate in designing operational dashboards and visual reports - Help streamline communication and collaboration across teams through structured systems - **Ground Operations** - Assist in monitoring and managing day-to-day operational activities to ensure smooth business functioning - Support the implementation and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflow processes - Collect, analyze, and report operational data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and coordination of operational tasks - Help develop and maintain operational dashboards and reporting tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) - Participate in process improvement initiatives by contributing insights and supporting execution plans - Provide logistical and administrative support for on-site activities and stakeholder engagement ## Job requirements - Undergraduates/current students in Project Management, Business, Economics, Communications, or a related field - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Previous internship experience in a related field is desirable but not required - A professional attitude and a strong commitment to completing tasks on time - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and effective communication materials - Ability to work effectively within a team and support various project needs as required - Ability to adapt to new tasks and environments quickly - Strong logical reasoning, systems thinking, and analytical skills - Self-driven, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a dynamic environment ## Applying to this role This DUAP Intern - Project Operation role at Deloitte runs through the firm's own careers portal and expects a CV and cover letter written specifically for the posting, not a portable submission carried across firms.
