## Role details

## Responsibilities

  
- Achieve sales KPI.
  
- Provide banking products and services for High-Net-Worth Individuals (non-Japanese and Japanese) in Asia in collaboration with Relationship Managers of SMBC Nikko Securities.
  
- Carry out operational tasks incidental to sales activities (on-boarding including KYC, account reviews, and executing banking requests) with the help of ARMs.
  
- Collaborate with team members across multiple departments (Deposit, Remittance, Treasury, etc.) in Singapore and external partners on the operational aspects of banking transactions.
  
- Act as a liaison with Japanese clients and the counterpart in the Japan headquarters.
  
- Comply with regulatory, compliance, and internal policies, including responses to transaction monitoring alerts.
  
- Provide support for any other duties assigned.

## Job Requirements

  
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related disciplines.
  
- Proficiency in the Japanese language is advantageous, as the role requires presenting and communicating with clients in Japanese.
  
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in the banking environment, preferably Private Banking.
  
- Ability to pass CACS 1 and 2 within 3 months of joining.
  
- Ability to perform accurate, precise, and timely operations.
  
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of banking and investment products.
  
- Strong team player with initiative and a sustained drive to tackle challenging tasks to establish a client base.
  
- Excellent communication skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.
  
- Strong client-servicing abilities and the capacity to handle complex issues.
