## UK Masterclass in London: High Frequency Trading

Are you ready to delve into the world of high frequency trading? Join IMC's UK Masterclass to explore the role of advanced technology in trading. The programme will take place on September 27 for Trading and September 28 for Technology in London.

### About the Masterclass

During this Masterclass, you will discover the world of technology-driven high frequency trading at IMC. Experience working at the edge between trading and software engineering. Learn the basics of interacting with a financial exchange and how to write a strategy that handles market data and calculates profitability. The programme includes two home-built coding challenges.

### Who you are

  
- Participants must be enrolled at a university in the UK or Ireland
  
- Flight reimbursement is available only for participants traveling from within Europe (some universities may still be on summer break)
  
- We are unable to assist with visa applications for entry into the UK
  
- Studying a relevant degree (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field)
  
- Graduating in 2027 or 2028

### What can you expect?

  
- Lectures on high frequency trading and IMC technology
  
- Algorithmic optimization coding challenge in your preferred language
  
- Q&A sessions with our Software Engineers to learn more about working at IMC
  
- Free lunch, drinks, and snacks

The event will be held in London from 10:00 to 18:00. Travel to the location is required, with travel costs reimbursed.
