## Aircraft Technician / Leadman Training Program

## Entry Requirements as a Trainee

  
- Minimum GCE “N” Level
  
- Passionate in working on aircraft and technical works
  
- No prior experience required

## Roles & Responsibilities

### As an Aircraft Technician after completion of training

  
- Able to perform preventive maintenance checks on aircraft systems, structural and/or electrical/electronic components.
  
- Able to fabricate and perform approved minor repairs on airframe sheet metal parts, electrical wirings and/or subsystem assemblies’ components.
  
- Able to perform simple operational checks on aircraft system and/or component using appropriate test sets/tools to ensure serviceability and airworthiness in accordance with national regulatory, company procedures and safety requirements.

### As a Leadman after completion of training

  
- Able to perform preventive maintenance checks on aircraft systems, structural and/or electrical/electronic components.
  
- Able to fabricate and perform approved minor repairs on airframe sheet metal parts, electrical wirings and/or subsystem assemblies’ components.
  
- Able to perform simple operational checks on aircraft system and/or component using appropriate test sets/tools to ensure serviceability and airworthiness in accordance with national regulatory, company procedures and safety requirements.
  
- Able to lead/coach, mentor and/or manage a team of technicians through a structured OJT/ OJT assessment.
  
- Able to champion production quality and safety on current initiatives or any future continuous improvement plan.
  
- Able to assist engineers in troubleshooting, defect detection and rectifications of aircraft system during maintenance checks.
