## Overview

Apple’s GPU Hardware Tech team is responsible for the outstanding graphics in Apple’s chips, powering devices from Apple Watch and Apple TV to iPhone and iPad. We’re seeking grads with talent and ambition to apply their hardware and software knowledge toward developing Apple’s cutting-edge GPUs. Join us to innovate how we design graphics processors, contributing to real-time graphics, VR/AR, parallel computing, and deep learning, among the industry’s best.

In this role, you will build emulation models, run and debug test cases, resolve environment issues, and drive emulation and acceleration capabilities for pre- and post-silicon validation.

## Responsibilities

  
- Collaborate with emulation team members and other verification, design, and software teams to deliver emulation capabilities for Apple’s GPU designs to verify functionality, performance, and power characteristics.
  
- Assist in the development of automation infrastructure and work with emulation vendors to ensure efficient use of emulation resources.
  
- As GPU designs grow, develop emulation-based verification IP to validate new features and enable cutting-edge HW/SW co-verification methodologies.

## Minimum Qualifications

  
- General RTL verification skills
  
- Knowledge of SystemVerilog RTL design/test bench
  
- Ability to debug design issues from waveforms
  
- Programming skills with Python, C, C++
  
- Understanding of emulation build, run, and debug flows
  
- Knowledge of emulation transactors is desirable
  
- Understanding of GPU architecture and micro-architecture is desirable
  
- Graphics and graphics programming knowledge is desirable

## Preferred Qualifications

  
- Some international travel will be required
