## Description

  
- The Yield Enhancement internship program aims to provide students with training and practical experience in identifying and communicating probe, process, and design issues that limit wafer yield. In this position, you will perform daily analysis of electrical data as well as electrical and visual characterization of failing devices. You will identify defects by performing analyses through various experiments, writing clear and concise reports, and delivering technical presentations on the issues analyzed.

## Project Scope

In this project, the student will learn:

  
- Analysis includes circuit and electrical fault isolation using Electrical Characterization and Fault Isolation tools
  
- Establish and form possible electrical or process failure mechanisms on yield issues based on Electrical and FA characterization
  
- Engage in cross-functional focus teams to resolve issues

## Deliverables

  
- Ability to independently handle basic EFA tools
  
- Establish and form possible electrical or process failure mechanisms to explain and resolve yield issues

## Skillset

  
- Knowledge of electrical/microelectronic/electronic-related testing and characterization

## Duration

  
- 6 months
