## Overview

Associate Private Banker – 2-year fixed term contract / Fast-Track program to Private Banker

Location: London

The Associate Private Banker programme is an exclusive fast-track program that works towards qualifying as a Private Banker within 2 years. You will study for your IAD, CeMAP and PCIAM qualifications while assisting Private Bankers with client-facing and new business responsibilities and contributing to new business across Weatherbys Private Bank’s product and service lines.

Assessment for the programme will take place in August 2026. Due to high interest, early registration is open to express interest now.

## What you will do

  
- Develop and generate new Private Banking client relationships and associated new business for the Private Bank.
  
- Develop relationships with professional intermediaries.
  
- Attend customer meetings and take meeting notes as required.
  
- Prepare credit applications and investment submissions.
  
- Contribute to new business across the various product and service lines offered by the Private Bank.
  
- Formulate, lead and execute Business Development initiatives.
  
- Undertake regulatory qualifications (CeMAP, IAD and PCIAM).
  
- Provide advice and relevant information to internal and external customers (once signed off as competent).
  
- Assist Private Bankers in managing their portfolios of clients and achieving their new business targets.
  
- Liaise with clients and intermediaries, communicating the proposition and product offering.
  
- Ensure client instructions are executed in a timely and accurate manner.
  
- Acquire and demonstrate the technical capabilities required to be an effective private banker from a regulatory and risk management perspective.

- Strong interpersonal skills to establish outstanding rapport and foster meaningful relationships with stakeholders and clients.
  
- Proactive mindset to embrace, explore, and leverage opportunities.
  
- Willingness to undertake CeMAP, IAD and PCIAM within 12-18 months of appointment to the role.
