## Role details

## Role

The junior sales specialist is responsible for growing the LSEG Risk business primarily by prospecting for new clients (specifically government, DNFPBs) and developing new and repeat due diligence business opportunities with financial institutions. The successful candidate should have 1–2 years of sales experience with similar risk and compliance solutions.

## Role Responsibilities

  
- Proactively identify logos for new business opportunities within defined sectors.
  
- Aggressively utilize targeted emails/DM/LinkedIn/professional platforms to accelerate prospect meetings and calls.
  
- Maintain high prospect and client call and meeting touchpoints.
  
- Increase due diligence repeat orders from the existing book of business with financial institutions.
  
- Deliver excellent customer presentations and demonstrations to successfully close opportunities.

## Qualifications and Experience

  
- Highly sales-focused; experience in similar roles preferred.
  
- Moderate understanding of risk and compliance.
  
- A successful outbound lead generator with a proven track record of delivering quota in a competitive sales environment.

## Knowledge & Skills

  
- Ability to build rapport, connect with people, and be personable and conversational.
  
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ambitions to aggressively grow a book of business.
  
- Detail-oriented with strong time management and pipeline hygiene.
  
- Accountable for delivering accurate pipeline forecasts.
