Position
The London-based M&A Technology team is seeking to hire an Analyst to join its growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in the team to support the origination and execution of transactions typically reporting to an Associate or Vice President, including:
- Assist in the preparation of client presentations (pitches);
- Research public company and transaction multiples to support valuation of companies;
- Support the drafting of information memoranda;
- Collect, analyze, and interpret complex datasets to provide actionable insights;
- Conduct industry research: collect information on target companies, market analysis, and competitive position; and
- Provide administrative support including meeting agendas, meeting notes, and management of deal Q&A.
Qualifications
- Experience in an accounting firm, preferably financial due diligence, or at least six months’ experience in an investment bank or boutique M&A firm;
- Solid financial knowledge (accounting, financial analysis, financial modelling, company valuation methods, etc.) and strong analytical skills, enabling you to work autonomously and in a team;
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to excellence;
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage professional relationships, excellent time management, and a commitment to delivering tasks on time; and
- Fluency in English (written and spoken), and comfort with IT tools relevant to the role.
