## Overview

PwC's Risk Services Team provides an invaluable safeguard in today’s complex operating environment. We help clients build trust, protect and strengthen every aspect of their business—from people to performance, systems to strategy, and business resilience. We assess technology, data, regulatory requirements, data security and privacy, internal audit, and third-party risk to help clients deliver quality results and meet strategic objectives. Our Cybersecurity team delivers services such as penetration testing, red teaming, and source code review to help clients achieve their business objectives.

## Role

Associate – Cybersecurity

## Key Services & Focus Areas

  
- **Penetration Testing** – Identify and exploit vulnerabilities to help clients secure assets and protect sensitive data, with hands-on experience and professional growth.
  
- **Red Teaming** – Simulate adversary tactics to test defenses, achieve objectives, conduct covert operations, and maintain long-term access to compromised systems.
  
- **Cybersecurity Assessment** – Assess security posture through host configuration reviews against industry benchmarks, source code reviews, architecture reviews, and cybersecurity risk assessments.

## Responsibilities

  
- Contribute to engagements across penetration testing, red teaming, and cybersecurity assessments.
  
- Collaborate with clients to identify security gaps and recommend practical remediation.
  
- Engage in hands-on testing and analysis to support risk-based decision making.

## Requirements & Qualifications

  
- Students pursuing Degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology from reputable local or overseas universities.
  
- Strong foundational knowledge of information technology and cybersecurity.
  
- Experience with security testing tools (e.g., Kali Linux, Covenant, Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, etc.).
  
- Desire to develop professionally in the cybersecurity field.
  
- Motivated, enthusiastic, confident, and creative with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities; committed to teamwork and excellence.
  
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
  
- Penetration testing certifications (e.g., CEH, CRT, OSCP) are an advantage.
  
- Participation in CTFs, disclosure of security flaws, CVE research, or offensive security tools publications is advantageous.

## Education & Certifications

Degrees/Field of Study: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology (as applicable). Certifications in relevant security areas are beneficial.
