The platform invests in the full spectrum of alternatives, including private equity, growth equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, hedge funds and sustainability. Goldman Sachs has over $2.8 trillion in assets under supervision globally as of December 31, 2023. Private Credit is a primary investment area within Goldman Sachs Asset Management. The Private Credit team originates investments and invests third-party capital across senior secured loans, mezzanine/unsecured debt, preferred equity and opportunistic credit, supporting buyouts led by Private Equity sponsors. The Europe-based Private Credit platform is a top-tier direct lending platform involved in large transactions. Analysts work on small deal teams to identify, diligencing, structuring, executing and monitoring corporate debt investments across leveraged buy-outs, take privates, add-on acquisitions and recapitalizations, primarily for Private Equity-backed businesses. The work is deal-focused and exposes you to a broad range of industries, investment structures and products. Our culture emphasizes teamwork, innovation and meritocracy, with support for professional and personal growth. ## Responsibilities - Originating investment ideas across the product suite of Credit via early engagement with relevant parties (e.g., financial sponsors / company management teams) - Engaging in all aspects of due diligence and business analysis to develop and refine investment theses - Participating in structuring, negotiating and documenting investments - Communicating and defending investment theses to internal stakeholders and committees, including AMD and Firm-wide Investment Committees - Actively monitoring existing investments in the portfolio - Building relationships with sponsors, management teams and internal GS stakeholders ## Qualifications - Investment Banking and Private Credit/Direct Lending candidate with 1 to 2 years of experience - Strong quantitative, financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving skills - Passion for investing with specific interest in credit and other structured products - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Flexible and creative mindset; ability to analyze a variety of industries and businesses - Ability to self-direct, analyze and evaluate and form independent judgments - Ability to interact and build relationships with a wide variety of people ## About Goldman Sachs At Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
