Zscaler runs two distinct early-career intake streams, plus a US Department of Defense placement track.
Its summer internship program is anchored in the United States and complemented by Skybound, the India-based summer internship cohort the firm publishes about under the same blog channel. Interns sit on engineering and marketing teams and the firm describes the work as shipping code into the production platform rather than shadow projects. Separately, Zscaler is a DoD SkillBridge industry partner: seven SkillBridge fellowships were posted at the time of writing, all US-based and limited to transitioning US service members, across detection engineering, federal security operations, insider-risk analysis, site reliability engineering, professional services, and phishing analysis. These are three different applicant pools with different eligibility, so a candidate aiming for Zscaler should identify which track their status (current student, returning student in India, or transitioning US service member) actually opens before applying.
