What sets Worldpay apart
Worldpay is now part of Global Payments.
On 12 January 2026 Global Payments announced it had completed its acquisition of Worldpay from FIS and GTCR, and it describes the combined company as processing approximately 94 billion transactions annually across more than 175 countries; trade press reported the deal at a net $24.25 billion. Worldpay's careers address now redirects to Global Payments' careers site, where the group lists its early-career pathways and internships. A Worldpay application is therefore an application into the Global Payments group: the careers site, early-careers page and application route are the group's, so the employer being weighed against other payments companies is the combined firm, not a standalone Worldpay.
