Vapi

Vapi closed a $50 million Series B in May 2026, led by Peak XV with Y Combinator, Microsoft's M12, and Kleiner Perkins participating, taking total funding to $72 million at a roughly $500 million valuation independently reported by TechCrunch:

• The platform has handled over 1 billion calls and is used by more than a million developers, per its own Series B announcement
• Amazon Ring runs 100% of its inbound call volume through Vapi, a deployment Vapi says went to production in two weeks; TechCrunch reports Ring selected Vapi over more than 40 competing vendors
• Vapi reports enterprise revenue grew 10x in the year before the raise

All open engineering roles are hired directly as "Member of Technical Staff," with no separate internship or graduate track. For an early-career applicant, that means joining as a direct full-time hire into a Series-B-stage company already carrying production traffic for large enterprise customers, rather than entering through a cohort or rotational program.

Not right now. Vapi has no internship or graduate roles listed today; new postings appear here as the firm opens them.

Applications to Vapi go through the firm's own careers site, one application per posting, each expecting a CV and cover letter written for that role.
