Superscript

Superscript became a registered Lloyd's of London broker in October 2020, so its Advised arm underwrites and brokers cover directly rather than only reselling other insurers' policies through software. In April 2024 it was certified a B Corp with a score of 88.2, against a median of 50.9 for companies completing the assessment, a comparatively rare certification among UK insurance brokers. It raised a £45 million Series B in January 2023, led by Comparethemarket-owner BHL UK and Fortune 500 insurer The Hartford, funding Superscript said would go toward its underwriting, broking and international-distribution capability. Together, these mark it as a funded, regulator-recognised scale-up rather than an early-stage startup, which matters most when weighing it against similarly sized UK fintech and insurtech employers with less capital or regulatory standing behind them.

Not right now. Superscript has no internship or graduate roles listed today; new postings appear here as the firm opens them.

Applications to Superscript go through the firm's own careers site, one application per posting, each expecting a CV and cover letter written for that role.
