Graduates move through six placements drawn from more than 17 desks – among them trade control, pricing and market risk, forecasting and hedging, and carbon and renewable markets – ending with an extended placement on the trading desk itself, a structure corroborated in trade press coverage of the scheme. There is no separate summer-internship or off-cycle track alongside it. That makes this a single multi-year commitment rather than one of several parallel programmes: an applicant is betting two years on one intake rather than sampling a short placement first.

In April 2026 it completed a €204 million acquisition of an 85% stake in Factor Energia, extending into Iberia and Latin America. A graduate joining now is entering a platform mid-expansion rather than a settled incumbent: cross-border mobility and exposure to new business lines are realistically on offer within the first few years, more so than at a single-market energy supplier of similar size.
