Mobileye

Three things, taken together, separate Mobileye from peer ADAS and autonomous-driving employers. First, scale of deployment: the firm reports shipping the 200 millionth EyeQ chip in 2024 and is now in series production with more than 50 OEMs including Volkswagen, Ford and BMW, with EyeQ6 High-based product launches beginning in 2026. Second, ownership history: Mobileye was founded in Jerusalem in 1999, acquired by Intel for $15.3bn in 2017, and re-listed on NASDAQ in 2022 at a $16.7bn valuation, so it operates as a standalone public company with multi-decade OEM relationships rather than a startup or an R&D lab inside a parent. Third, geographic concentration: the firm's careers page lists roughly 123 open roles globally, of which more than 110 sit in Israeli offices (Jerusalem, Ramat Gan, Petah Tikva, Haifa, Tel-Aviv); only single-digit openings exist in Munich, Koblenz-Neuwied, Beijing, Chennai and Austin. For applicants outside Israel, that last point is a gate as much as a profile: the algorithm, chip and software R&D, and the realistic career path within the firm, live in Israel.
