What sets Lattice apart
Lattice was founded in 2015 by Jack Altman and Eric Koslow.
Its early institutional backers included Shasta Ventures, Thrive Capital, Khosla Ventures, and Y Combinator (Lattice; TechCrunch), and its board includes Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian (The Org). The company's most recently disclosed funding round is a $175M Series F led by Thrive Capital, Elad Gil, Tiger Global, and Dragoneer in January 2022, which valued the company at $3B, up from $1B ten months earlier at its Series E (TechCrunch). For a candidate weighing this against an earlier-stage HR-tech startup, a company four years past its last disclosed raise and already valued at $3B typically means more defined leveling and established compensation bands, trading some of the scope an earlier-stage team would hand a new hire for that stability.
