Genesys's structured early-careers offering is a Software Engineer Internship at its European engineering hubs, posted on the firm's Workday board as an evergreen requisition. The current Budapest cycle hires roughly 15 interns split across frontend, backend, software-developer-in-test, and full-stack tracks; runs from June 2026 to January or June 2027 depending on graduation date; and operates on a hybrid pattern of at least two days per week in office at a minimum 24 hours per week. The firm has previously run a parallel intake in Galway, Ireland on a January-to-August schedule with the same ~15-intern target. Both cohorts embed interns directly in scrum teams on Genesys Cloud rather than running a separate training stream, and there is no published business, finance, or non-engineering graduate-scheme track — candidates outside computer science have nothing to apply to here.
