Box runs three early-careers tracks, set out on its early-careers page:

• Summer internships: 12 weeks, full-time on a single team, with start dates flexed to local academic calendars. Roles span Engineering, Sales, Marketing, HR and Legal, hosted out of hub offices including the Redwood City headquarters and Warsaw.
• UK placement students: a 12-month programme based in London across go-to-market functions, including Marketing, Sales, Partner Sales, Customer Success and GTM Operations, aimed at undergraduates on a placement year.
• New graduate roles: filled largely by former interns who return after a summer with the firm.

Because the graduate pipeline runs mainly through returning interns, and internships are open to students in their junior year, the 12-week summer is effectively the front door: securing it the summer before final year is the realistic route to a new-grad offer, rather than applying cold after graduation.

This is a gate rather than a step worked out during hiring: a candidate without existing work authorization in the country where a role sits cannot count on Box to sponsor a visa. It narrows which postings are realistically open to an international applicant, so confirming work-authorization for the specific country is worth doing before committing time to an application.
